Happy Birthday To Me

(A cake fit for a husband)

I had to wait for 34 years to receive my first ever birthday cake. We are only 3 years in marriage with Precious, but she has already done the unxpected. I’ve been dreaming of having a cake written my name for many years. Oh yes, the time arrived on 30 June 2010. Without expecting it; when I arrived home, my wife sang for me a birthday song joined by my little daughter, Nanette. Wow, a cake was presented to me. I couldn’t believe it. I nearly broke to tears.

I’ve bought many cakes for many children in the past but no one has ever bought me one. Thank God for my beautiful woman. I sometimes ask myself, “Do I really deserve this?”

There was a time I thought our marriage was over. People had written our marriage off; friends and relatives had concluded about us; but you know what, God being so faithful has restored our marriage in a miraculous way. Oh how I love Jesus, because he loved me first.

Breaking The Alters of The Devil

Praying as a team in workplace is something that needs to be encouraged. We need to pray for one another and uproot all the alters and strongholds of the enemy. In the market place is where the enemy is roaming.

Below was this morning's scripture

"Good Morning Saints :-)
Here is the Bible reading from this morning.

May we be in prayer for our leaders in all areas of our lives - work, country, house holds, churches and many others.

May we honor and respect them as Gods chosen ones for such a time as this!

Be blessed, and may we shine the light of the Lords grace in our lives through our lives :-)
Romans 13:1-7
1Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. 4For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. 6This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. 7Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor."

REUBEN ARMSTRONG "SNAKES IN THE PULPIT

I certainly agree with this man. I can't mention people by names, but I certainly feel God's pulpit is used in a wrong manner.

“A Snake On The Pulpit”

I am patiently writing a book on ruthless pastors. I have come accross many, and in the name of Christ are destroying other people’s lives. A message sent from the pulpit is meant to heal the sick; to heal the broken souls & hearts, and to give hope to the hopeless. God relies upon his servants; the pastors, evangelists, bishops, prophets, apostles; the list is endless to send the message of love and hope to His children.

Today, pastors has turned the pulpit to be a centre of hurt, hatred, corruption, lies, scams, money making and for self enrichment. I am boldy writing a book entitled, “A Snake On the Pulpit.”

Watch this space...

After I found this website; http://www.snakesinthepulpit.com/ the title of my book will be changed; to "Greedy Pastors of Our Times"

World Cup Fever

"Viva Bafana Bafana"

"That's how it is done"

"Blowing"

United South Africa for Bafana Bafana

Ya! South Africa. I just went passed the Park Station in Johannesburg on Friday, just 3 hours before the Bafana Bafana/Mexico kickoff. Let me tell you; you would have said Bafana has won the world cup. It was vuvuzela everywhere; yellow everywhere. People were united; black, white, indian and coloured. It was so wonderful to see everyone singing one song, the song of celebration via vuvuzela.

Thank God for such a country in Africa. Thank God for Mandela, and to all our parents who fought for freedom in South Africa; and to those who sacrificed their lives. Halala South Africa. We are proud of you Bafana. Go for it, it must stay right here.

The Mahlangu's received Megan

Megan visited the Mahlangu's who lives in Montana, Pretoria. The family was very glad to have her around.

Kids Receiving their food parcels

(Megan Kallin handing out food parcels to Kwekwe Stishi)

It was yet another day of joy amongst the children of Silahliwe Squatter Camp in the Vaal, Midvaal Municipality as 40 children received their food parcels. The food was donated by Foodbank SA and dsitributed by the Benjamin Dube Foundation. Megan Kallin from the Queen's University of Canada joined the team in this food distribution event.

(Precious handing out food parcels to Ntombi)

“I am happy today, I will eat cornflakes.” Said a happy 4 year old Emihle Kraba who was carrying her box of kellog’s and yorgurt on the other hand. The parents were watching with excitement as their children were receiving their food parcels. “This is new in this squatter camp. We hope Foodbank and the Benjamin Dube Foundation could continue feeding our children.” Said a jubilant parent.

Everything went well and the food was distributed evenly to all children who were present. We started with the younger ones, between the age of 3 and 7 years old. We then distributed what remained to those children who are between 8 and 11 years old.

AS a service provider; the Benjamin Dube Foundation would like to thank Foodbank SA for their support. We encourage this initiative and we hope our partnership runs for many years to come as we provide to our future leaders; our future doctors, presidents, teachers, nurses of our country.

We hope and believe that South Africa can eradicate hunger if we all collectively work together as a nation. Thankyou Foodbank.

Welcome Megan

Megan Kallin is a young lady from Canada who has just arrived in South Africa and she is volunteering with Food & Trees for Africa (http://www.trees.org.za/). She had been meeting with the staff members of FTFA for the past 2 days. “I’m glad to be here in South Africa.” She said. “I have been longing to come to this country since the beginning of this year.”

She is very happy to be around the country and to be meeting the beautiful people around. Her concern is the tight security; electric fence, and tall security buildings around most houses and business found in the city of Johannesburg and its surbubs.
Megan is looking forward to her 12 weeks she will spend in South Africa. She will be helping out in our different departments at FTFA. So far, so good!

Happy Birthday my girl

11 June is always a memorable day in my life. It was on this day when my first born daughter was born 10 years ago. It is a day I looked at myself and say, “yes I am a daddy now”.
Constance is turning 10 years on this day of 11 June. She was born in Mozambique, Matola 700. I was just 23 years old.

Happy birthday my love. May God bless you through your childhood; adolescent stage; your youth until you get married to the stage you become a granny. Follow the footsteps of your granny, Verah Stengile Mondlane; who had a sense of humour.
Be blessed coming in; be blessed going out. Whatever you touch, let it be a blessing. No matter how far you are in Mozambique, know that I love you and I want the best for you. We don’t plan for our future. It was not in my plan to seperate with you my love. I believe God knew, and it happened for a reason.
Your little sister Nannete sends you the best wishes on this wonderful day.
Your mom, Precious also wishes you all the best on your born day.

Pass my greetings to Tracy. Tell her that we love her so much.

Tracy & Connie
