GOD'S LOVE IS TO SHOW LOVE TO THE NEEDY

She is the future and it is our responsibility to channel her potential in a right direction
God has made me a father of many children. It is my prayer to be able to give these kids love. No matter what the circumstance might be in their lives, I know one day they will become something in the community. Amongst them are the Doctors, Presidents, Lawyers, Ministers, Pastors, Evangelists and the list is endless.

I pray to God day and night to provide for these children in a form of food, clothing, shelter and education. I might have children of my own, but God has given me more. I thank God for that.

“Silahliwe” literally means, “we are dumped”. This is a squatter camp in Midvaal Municipality at the EastRand. All houses are built out of corrugated irons; no running water; no electricity and the place is very dirty and not safe for children to live in. Hundreds of families live in the area and many children close to 900 are found in the area. These children are between 0 to 11 years.

80% of the people living in the area are unemployed. 15% are employed as domestic workers and grounds men, and 5% are security guards not under professional companies. Crime statistics is high in the area and these children are victims to sexual abuse and domestic violence.
It is in this place I and my wife Precious work during weekends. 3 months ago we started a “Kids for Christ – Club”. Our aim is:
-To feed the kids
-Educate the kids
-Provide medical attention
-Create a safe environment for them to play
-Give to them love; love not only in the better tomorrow but in coming to know Jesus Christ and the wonders of his mercy.

We teach the kids the word of God and we do not compromise that.
Thank God, Pastor Benjamin Dube (
www.benjamindube.net) has taken upon himself to look after these kids under the “Benjamin Dube Children’s Foundation”. On the 7th March 2010, the organization will be unveiling its projects and he will be performing on stage with the kids, singing one of his favourite songs.

If you want to put a hand in helping these kids; it can be in form of any donation; food, clothes or adopting a child. Adopting in this case; you choose a child you want to support in this place and cater for his or her needs while she/he is with her family. Please contact us @ meya@webmail.co.za or call Solomon at: 072 356 8282. Visit: http://www.benjamindube.blogspot.com/ for viewing the pictures of the children we are taking care of; I and my wife Precious.

My prayer is to see these little ones happy in spite of their circumstances
All of our children comes from this area of "Silahliwe Squatter camp"

Silahliwe means "we are dumped" But in God they are not dumped

Bringing hope to these children is my calling and to see Jesus love manifesting into their lives
