World Wetlands Day in Pictures - Tembisa

This is my second year coordinating the ‘greening project’ under Food & Trees for Africa. In 2010 alone, I distributed more than 6500 trees in Olievenhoutbosch in the Tshwane region. These trees were sponsored by Audi South Africa. I was also involved in planting 160 trees in schools. These trees were sponsored by Shell and Rennies respectively. I distributed 1000 trees in Kaalfontein sponsored by Investec. I was also involved in planting of 1000 trees in Cosmo City and 1350 trees in Alexandra.
2011 started on a high note with about 1000 trees distributed in Tembisa under the “Project Green” initiative by Kulula.com. In celebration of the “World Wetlands Day” FTFA ensured that the residents of Tembisa receive a tree per house. It is such a great feeling to know that one is making a difference in his community. God created me for a purpose, and that I know. I know that he has a plan for me. I am because He is.
